The Department of Finance is one of the largest departments in one of the largest business schools in the entire United States. The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, with approximately 8700 students, is the fourth largest business school in the country. Approximately 33% of all graduates from the Mihaylo College choose Finance as their concentration. It is estimated that between 6,500 and 7,500 individuals have graduated from the Mihaylo College with a concentration in Finance and approximately 80% of them remain in Southern California. Distinguished alumni include the heads of major national companies as well as many executives and business owners.
