Abstract
The complex task of General Education assessment involves multiple faculty, disciplines and thematic connections to a university’s mission and strategic plan. Mr. Slowensky will present a model developed by Chapman University to assess the effectiveness their new GE program. He will also present a creative approach to closing the loop used by Chapman’s film school, which tapped the existing infrastructure of an end-of-the-year awards show to produce evidence-based decision-making within the curriculum.
