Adrian Fleissig, Ph.D.
Dr. Adrian Fleissig has a joint Ph.D in Economics and Statistics from North Carolina State University,
and is highly ranked among economists world-wide based on his academic research. He is well-known for developing
economic theory and methodology to better understand regional economics and is a leading forecaster of the housing
market. Professor Fleissig is a member of the Advisory Board for the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and studies
the impact that Federal Reserve Bank policy has on consumer behavior. His quarterly Southern California Leading
Indicator has been reported by the Orange County Register and the Los Angeles Times since 2000. Dr. Fleissig is
the Principal Investigator on such significant regional projects as the Strategic Financial Plan and Transportation
Revenue Analysis for the County of Orange and the Los Angeles County Demographic and Poverty Estimates. He is a
research associate with the Center for Demographic Research at CSUF. At California State University Fullerton,
he has been awarded an Outstanding University Researcher Award, an Original Research and Creativity Award for
the Department of Economics, and the Drouillard Scholar Award for the College of Business and Economics.
