Henan Provincial Government Delegation
Signing of General Cooperation Agreement at CSUF
Headed by Lieutenant Governor Mr. Quanguo Chen, the Henan Provincial Government delegation visited Cal State Fullerton on April 12, 2002. The delegation is made up of several senior provincial government officials and public administrators from Henan Province, China. After a brief campus tour, the delegation was welcomed and briefed about Cal State Fullerton College of Business and Economics by Dr. Anil Puri, Dean of the College of Business and Economics (CBE).
The delegates were also introduced to Drs. Katrin Harich, Thomas Johnson, both CBE Associate Deans, and Irene Lange, Chair of the Marketing and International Business Department. Through their presentation, the delegation further learned about CBE, the Chinese MBA program, and international business programs offered by CBE. Next, the delegation met and talked with CSUF President Dr. Milton Gordon. As the most important part of the delegation's CSUF trip, Lieutenant Governor Mr. Chen and President Mr. Gordon signed the General Cooperation Agreement between the People's Government of Henan Province and Cal State Fullerton. The agreement will foster and facilitate more frequent education and training exchange programs between Henan Province and Cal State Fullerton in the near future.

The Henan delegates took a look at the agreement to be signed.
Lieutenant Governor Chen presented a traditional Chinese souvenir to Dr. Gordon
after the agreement signing ceremony as Mr. Yongchen Feng (first on the left),
Deputy Director of Henan Government Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Anil Puri
(first on the right), Dean of CBE, looked on.
