Visions

To create a program that attracts and educates talented individuals who are committed to a professional careers in property/casualty actuary, life and health actuary, and pension actuary. The program is committed to helping students prepare for actuary exams, find internships and professional employment, as well as assisting industry recruiters in targeting ideal potential actuaries.

Objectives

• To develop a high quality Actuary Science curriculum that will blend traditional Math, Finance, and technology course with industry needs.

• To create and publicize opportunities for individual employees to enroll in the Actuary Science Program for the purpose of developing their careers.

• To present a comprehensive program that will encourage students to explore the variety of opportunities available in the Actuary Science field, including P/C, Life, Pension, and Risk Management Consulting.

• To offer workshops that assist students who are preparing for the actuary exams.

• To provide scholarships, field trips, internships, and job opportunities for students.
