Dean is the Managing Partner of the Orange County practice and the West Region Leader of PwC’s Financial Advisory Services practice. He has more than 29 years of experience with the Firm, including living and working in Asia for 14 years.

In 2001, Dean was elected by the partners to PwC’s 18-member Global Oversight Board, the most senior group of partners in the global Firm.

Dean has significant and broad global experience and assumed the lead in establishing the Tax Services practices in both Tokyo and Beijing, as well as the Corporate Finance & Recovery (CF&R) practice in Japan. Recently, he has served as a member of the Executive Committees of both Global CF&R and Asia Pacific.

From 1998 to 2001, he was named one of the top tax advisors by the International Tax Review.

Dean has authored or co-authored over 45 articles and editorials on relevant business and technical topics, and he is frequently quoted as a thought leader on international topics in major newspapers and business publications.
