Dean Samsvick is an Audit Partner with KPMG LLP, a “Big Four” international accounting firm. He has been with KPMG since 1981 after graduating from Cal State Fullerton. Dean leads KPMG’s Southern California lifesciences practice and currently serves as the lead partner for a number of clients in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. He also has significant experience working with companies in the technology industry.
Dean previously served for ten years as the Managing Partner of KPMG’s Orange County office, overseeing the three primary KPMG practices; audit, tax and advisory, as well as KPMG’s overall business development activities in Orange County. Dean serves as a member of the Cal State University Fullerton (CSUF) Dean’s Advisory Board for the Mihaylo College of Business and the Board of the CSUF Center for Corporate Reporting and Governance (CCRG). He also serves on the Boards of The Forum of Corporate Directors and Kindred Community Church in Anaheim Hills.
Dean previously served on the Boards of Orange County’s United Way and South Coast Repertory. Dean has been married to his wife Terri for 30 years and has three adult children.
