To receive CPE credit for the Webinars, you must register for the webcast prior to the start of each program and login no later than the scheduled start time for the event. You must also answer the polling questions that will be asked throughout the presentation.
To verify participants are actively engaged, the CCRG uses 4 monitoring devices per CPE hour that consist of polling, questions, or surveys. These questions will be at random intervals and unannounced. Attendees must respond to, or answer correctly or coherently to 3 of the 4 monitoring devices (75%) in order to receive credit for that CPE hour. The participants have 90 seconds to answer the monitoring device. Partial credit will be granted for each completed CPE hour after the first hour of completion. Participants must attend the entire course to receive full credit. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
Partial credit shall be permitted after the first hour of continuing professional education has been earned in a given program. In the event of technology failure, each 50 minute interval in which the participant verified his/her attendance at least 75% of the time shall be granted credit for each unit completed. For a program that is longer than one 50-minute class hour, credit shall be granted for additional 25-minute segments (one-half of a 50-minute class hour). Only class hours or the equivalent (and not participant hours devoted to preparation or study time) will be used to measure the hours of continuing education. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit
In the event that the CCRG must cancel or reschedule a webcast due to technology failure or other unforeseen circumstances,
the registration fee for that individual webcast will be refunded in full. We will also reschedule the webcast, so attendees
don't miss out on that particular course. We will communicate a course cancellation to all registered participants via email and remove the cancelled webcast from our website.
Attendee cancellations made 1 week or more prior to webcasts are eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be given less than 7 days prior to a webcast. However, you may transfer your registration to another webcast within the same semester of the original webcast without penalty or to the same webcast the following semester if it is not offered again during the semester of your cancellation. Participants must notify the CCRG their intent to transfer no later than 24 hours before the scheduled webcast.
If you fail a webcast, you will not receive a refund. “Failure” means you failed to respond to at least 75% of the monitoring events during the period for which continuing education credit is being granted.
