Executive VP and General Manager, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment
Simon Swart joined Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment in 1997 and currently serves as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of North America. He joined the company as Vice President of Operations and made the transition to sales after two years. Prior to his current appointment, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and is credited with developing one of the most lauded national sales teams in the industry by transforming the company’s sales methodology into the first and most successful team-selling model in the industry. He was also the driving force behind several new distribution models that included an aggressive acquisitions and development strategy, and the creation of Fox Faith. Under Swart’s guidance, Fox Home Entertainment has received numerous accolades from retail partners, including multiple ‘Vendor of the Year’ awards. Before joining Fox Home Entertainment, Swart held positions of increasing responsibility at Warner Home Entertainment and Buena Vista (Walt Disney) Home Entertainment.
