Robert Alvarado is the Vice President of Marketing and Ticket Sales with the Los Angeles Angels. He is responsible for all aspects of marketing the Angels brand including advertising, promotions, ticket sales and online marketing initiatives as well as oversight of all sales and service of ticket products including suites, season seats, and group tickets. During his tenure, the Angels have been ranked as the top MLB organization in ESPN The Magazine’s “Ultimate Standings” fan experience poll four out of the last 6 years and achieved the number 1 overall ranking among all professional sports franchises in 2009. As a result, the Angels have ranked in the top 5 in MLB attendance including eight consecutive seasons of 3 million plus visitors. He was instrumental in the re-branding and re-launch of the Angels current “red” marks, on field uniforms, and the iconic “Halo” A logo. Prior to the Angels, Robert had served in multiple capacities over a six year period with the Coors Brewing Company, his latest position in Denver, Colorado as Manager, Business Development. A native Southern Californian, Robert graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1987 and currently serves on the Board of Governors of the CSUF Philanthropic Foundation as well as on the Advisory Board for the Orange County Salvation Army. Robert and his wife Kathy reside in Tustin Ranch with their daughters Lauren and Julia.
