International Program
Our international program, Education Exchange Events (EEE), has been
very successful. So far we've hosted about 10 events for visiting Chinese
delegations. Recent events include
Henan Provincial Government delegation,
Shanghai Pharmaceutical Executives delegation, and
guest lecture on WTO
challenges to China's insurance industry by Dr. Qixiang Sun from China's
prestigious Peking University. The events have not only established and
enhanced the reputation of Cal State Fullerton, but have also brought financial
resources to the Center for Insurance Studies. For example, the Senior Leadership
in the 21st Century program, designed for pharmaceutical industry executives
from Shanghai, China, attracted a great amount of attention from local business
communities, including Beckman Coulter, Sunrider International, ICN
Pharmaceuticals, etc..
The former founder of AST Research, Mr. Albert Wong, came to CSUF to speak to the delegation. Another example is that the visit of a Chinese insurance executive delegation to Auto Club even received attention from the local Chinese TV station and was reported on their daily news coverage. The EEE program expands our name only only in the insurance industry but also the Southern California business community.
