The Department of Accounting at the California State University,
Fullerton is in cooperation with the Institute of Internal Auditors’
(IIA)
Internal Auditing Education Partnership. The certificate is
offered at only a few universities in the United States. Upon
completion of the certificate requirements, a certificate of
completion is to be offered.
A certificate requires the completion of 9 units in upper division
courses. A certificate requires the completion of two courses with grades of
B or better; Forensic Accounting (ACCT405) and Internal Auditing and Control
(ACCT422). Students are also required to complete an internship to receive a
certificate of completion.
