Recruit for Internships
Internships are the #1 recruitment tool used by employers to source and evaluate full-time candidates.
Internships offer a valuable two-way exploratory relationship between students and employers.
Interns gain functional industry experience, acquire and refine skills, and make meaningful
connections. Through internships, employers not only benefit from the extra resources student
interns provide but also have the opportunity to evaluate the performance and potential of the
interns, essentially giving them a trial run for full-time employment.
What qualifies as an internship?
Although the traditional internship is typically a full-time, summer-long experience, our students are eligible to participate in non-traditional internships throughout the school year. These may include part-time or project-based opportunities. If you have any questions about how to create a valuable internship experience at your organization, please contact Hema Paliwal at hepaliwal@fullerton.edu or 657-278-8112.
Paid Internships:
Internships may be posted on the same central database that is used for full-time opportunities. This site is the CSUF Career Center’s Titan Connection.Internships for academic credit:
Mihaylo students are eligible to complete an internship for academic credit provided they coordinate with their academic concentration’s department to ensure that they register for an internship course that fits in with their particular department’s requirements, policy for elective classes, etc.
Employers can post and recruit for students for academic credit internships (paid or unpaid) with CSUF’s Center for Internship and Community Engagement. This site contains all the details you need concerning internship requirements and step-by-step directions. As with full-time positions, we are happy to help you market your internship opportunity to the appropriate group of students and/or faculty.
