BA in Business Administration (BABA) Online Degree Completion Program

This online Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Professional Business Concentration is designed primarily for business professionals who plan to become effective managers dealing with processes and people. The concentration is targeted toward students who wish to gain a solid understanding of fundamental business disciplines. Students will be exposed to core elements of business and will be able to function in careers such as general management, international business, financial operations, general consulting and government. Students in this program prefer a general degree rather than specialized concentrations (Accounting, Finance, etc.).

Completion of a business undergraduate degree provides preparation for a diverse range of careers including: social work, politics, law, public administration, urban and environmental planning, public relations, personnel, criminal justice, counseling and other service professions.

Admission Requirements

The BA in Business Administration (BABA) online degree completion program requires incoming students to have 60 transferable semester units from one or more community colleges, or other accredited institutions and a minimum 2.50 cumulative grade point average. The 60 units should be comprised of CSU general education requirements and CSUF lower division business courses (listed below) or approved equivalents.

The degree completion program is comprised of 60 upper-division semester units (20 courses), requiring students to have a minimum of 120 units to be eligible for graduation. Students will also be required to pass the Examination in Writing Proficiency (EWP) prior to attaining senior status. To begin the BABA program, you need 60 transferable units (90 quarter units) which include:

  -A minimum of 30 semester units (45 quarter units) in CSU-approved general education (GE) course    work with a grade of C or better.

  • The GE must include classes from the “Golden Four” requirements:
    • Oral Communication
    • Written Communication
    • Critical Thinking
    • Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning
