This online Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Professional Business Concentration is designed primarily for business professionals who plan to become effective managers dealing with processes and people. The concentration is targeted toward students who wish to gain a solid understanding of fundamental business disciplines. Students will be exposed to core elements of business and will be able to function in careers such as general management, international business, financial operations, general consulting and government. Students in this program prefer a general degree rather than specialized concentrations (Accounting, Finance, etc.).
Completion of a business undergraduate degree provides preparation for a diverse range of careers including: social work, politics, law, public administration, urban and environmental planning, public relations, personnel, criminal justice, counseling and other service professions.
The BA in Business Administration (BABA) online degree completion program requires incoming students to have 63 transferable semester units from one or more community colleges, or other accredited institutions and a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average . The 63 units should be comprised of CSU general education requirements and CSUF lower division business courses (listed below) or approved equivalents.
The degree completion program is comprised of 57 upper-division semester units (19 courses). CSUF requires students to have a minimum of 120 units to be eligible for graduation. For a complete listing of official graduation requirements, please consult the CSUF Catalog.
To begin the online BABA program, you need have good academic standing at the last college or university attended and 63 transferrable semester units. The 63 transferrable semester units could be achieved through either:
Completing an Associate Degree for Transfer in Business from a California community college
The 63 units should include:
A minimum of 30 semester units (45 quarter units) in CSU-approved general education (GE) course work with a grade of C or better.
