The MBA for the Fully Employed (FEMBA) is offered at CSUF’s Irvine campus. This program is designed for working professionals who are looking for a part-time educational option while maintaining full-time employment. Each course emphasizes conceptual, analytical, technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills and providing students with the knowledge necessary to become effective leaders. Students can expect to discuss current issues, learn from case studies, forecast future trends, and participate in dynamic group discussions. Students in our FEMBA program come from a wide variety of educational and professional backgrounds but share the dedication and desire to obtain their MBA from an accredited institution.
The FEMBA program features the same high quality curriculum and faculty as the Fullerton campus programs but with some distinct differences.
The FEMBA program is offered in a cohort format. Throughout the program, students are provided with a stimulating networking environment in which they learn from each other and form long term professional relationships.
Students have the choice to travel abroad and join Mihaylo faculty and fellow MBA students abroad to gain a greater understanding of international business environments. Travel abroad experience acts as a replacement for one elective course.
Students take one course every 6-8 weeks including summer. Two courses are completed each fall and spring semester and one course in the summer. Classes are offered twice a week from 7:00 to 9:45 PM. This accelerated format enables you to concentrate on one subject area at a time.
The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics FEMBA program is designed to support the career goals of our part-time students. The basic curriculum of 45 semester units (15 courses) consists of
Students must complete prerequisites in calculus and statistics by their first year of study. Prerequisite coursework can be completed prior to enrolling. The courses below or equivalent coursework must be completed with grades of at least a "C" (2.0).
