The
Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is committed to both encouraging
and rewarding scholarly research that leads to publication.
This semi-annual award is for the best peer-reviewed publication
over a six-month period.
Dr. Chiranjeev Kohli of the Marketing department received the best
peer-reviewed publication of Fall 2007 for his paper on “The
effects of perceived scarcity on consumers’ processing of price
information.” His paper was accepted for publication in Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science 2007.
The Spring 2007 Scholar award was given to Dr. Michael Lacour-Little
for his paper on “The Home Purchase Mortgage Preferences Of
Low-and-Moderate Income Households” published in Real Estate
Economics 2007.
Annually, the college faculty meet to celebrate the year’s successes
and honor outstanding peers. Each award recipient receives a plaque
with their name and the award imprinted upon it and a check for
$1000.00
