Today we live in a borderless world. Companies that are successful are those that think globally and have a global strategy.

The Outlook for International Mgmt

CSUF is ideally located in the central part of Orange County, a recognized global business center and home to people of many different cultures. There is no better place to see global business at work than in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. As boundaries diminish and economic treaties like NAFTA and the European Union unite countries, a culturally-minded and internationally-educated workforce will become increasingly important. Therefore, many companies are looking for employees who are educated in international management. This hiring trend will become even bigger in the future as busyness becomes more globalized.

Career Options

Specific employment alternative are extremely varied. They include positions with exporting and importing middlemen, export or international departments of producers, foreign subsidiaries of American companies, foreign companies, international departments of banks, various service organizations such as foreign freight forwarders, custom house brokers and marine insurance companies, international agencies of the government or agencies of the United Nations. An increasing number of not only large corporations, but medium and small firms, are going international and a growing percentage of overall revenue is coming from overseas markets.
