Dr. Hamid Tavakolian is a a professor of management at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, of California State University, Fullerton. He teaches courses in strategic management and holds a PhD in Business Administration and a Masters of Decision Sciences Degree in Applied Statistics, both from Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Prior to joining the Management Department at CSUF, Dr. Tavakolian has taught a broad spectrum of business strategy courses at universities across the country. He has also done research in the area of business strategy, and he has published articles in journals such as the MIS Quarterly.
