Dr. Shaun Pichler

Dr. Shaun Pichler an associate professor of management at the Mihaylo College of Business & Economics, California State University, Fullerton, where he teaches courses in organizational behavior and human resource management. He received his Ph.D. in human resource management from Michigan State University. His research program is centered around fairness and support in organizations, and involves research on discrimination and diversity, work-family issues, performance management and appraisal and international HRM. He has published 30 refereed papers (as of 2012) in leading outlets such as Behavior Research Methods, Human Resource Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Occupational & Organizational Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Personnel Psychology, among others, including 14 refereed papers since joining CSUF. He is active in a variety of professional service capacities, including service to the Academy of Management and as a reviewer for several leading journals, and he is active in service to CSUF at various levels. He was the recipient of the CSUF Teacher-Scholar award in 2012, and his work has been cited by the U.S. Congress among a variety of professional and other outlets.
