MS in Information System

MS in Information Systems and Decision Sciences

The MS in Information Systems and Decisions Sciences (a STEM designated) program provides the conceptual understanding and technical competence for careers in information systems.  Information Systems are computer-based systems that provide management with the necessary information to support the decision-making needs of an organization.

The program is scheduled especially for those students who are employed full-time, with all courses offered during the late afternoon and evening. Students with a recent undergraduate degree in business administration equivalent to the degree offered at CSU Fullerton should be able to complete the ten-course curriculum within a year-and-a-half on a full-time basis.

Within this program, there are three concentrations a student may focus their coursework on:

    Generalist
    Business Analytics
    Decision Sciences
More information on each concentration is discussed below.

STEM Designated Program

The MS in Information Systems and Decision Sciences includes the distinction of being a STEM designated program. This program provides international students 17 additional months of OPT (Optional Practical Training), plus the original 12 months.
