ACG Cup Competition
The ACG Cup is an annual case study competition designed to give
top students from leading MBA programs real world experience and invaluable insight into mergers and
acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity. Each case study provides
students from across the country with a unique opportunity to present valuation, capital market and
M&A strategic advice to a panel of seasoned M&A professionals from within the ACG community.
The competition is carried out through a series of intra-school and regional competitions, with regional winners awarded the prestigious ACG Cup title and cash awards in January/February. In 2010 all teams will be competed for a $10,000 first prize. For more details click here.
Mihyalo Career Management Events
Kate Guerrero, Associate Director of MBA Programs Career
Development, and Sean McCobb, Career Specialist, make up your Mihaylo
Graduate Career Management Center. They work to bring opportunities not only
to develop job search strategy and skills, but also to increase access to
local and national employers. In addition, we offer career
development events such at brand yourself, resume roundtable, and much much

Find Your Focus Online Videos
As a student in the Mihaylo College of Business and
Economics’ MBA program, you have the opportunity to specialize your course
of study and select a Concentration. For some of you, this decision is one
you have already made, while others of you may be wondering which
Concentration is best for you. To assist you in making an informed
Concentration selection, the office of Graduate Programs at the Mihaylo
College of Business and Economics has created video's to "FIND
YOUR FOCUS"
The 15 minute videos consist of online modules for you to view. The videos cover our six Concentrations: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Management, and Marketing.
During each 15 minute video, you will get a chance to listen to brief presentations conducted by an esteemed faculty member from each department. The videos are located in STEP 12 of your Graduate Student Handbook below each concentration approval form.
MCBE Graduate Programs Graduation and Awards Ceremony
Graduation from a Master’s program is an important
accomplishment in your life. It marks the completion of a challenging task
and a new chapter in your life. The Office of Graduate Programs, annually
in May, host the MCBE Graduate Programs Graduation and Awards Ceremony:
Vegas Style. We celebrate our students success together, along with the
Award of Excellence winners, your fellow graduates, students in the graduate
programs, faculty, and administration.
Students who graduate with 3.85 GPA or higher are awarded the "Award of Academic Excellence" and receive a certificate and medallion.
