FEMBA Working Professionals Mentor Program
The MBA Working Professionals Mentor Program is created to facilitate a sense of community and the development of peer relationships in the FEMBA program. Students in the FEMBA program are working professionals from similar and advanced professional levels. Our Mentors and Mentees will develop a reciprocal relationship that allows each participant to learn from one another.
Peer Mentors will volunteer 1-2 hours of their time and mentor newly admitted students in their first semester on academic issues while sharing knowledge and offering advice & feedback that will help to create a smooth transition into graduate school. Some topics may include adjusting to graduate school, lessons learned, and how to balance work, life, and school.
- As a Peer Mentor you will enhance your skills in coaching, listening, and modeling.
- As a Mentee you will increase your networks and enhance your development as a professional.
Please take a moment to meet the FEMBA mentors and mentees of the Working Professionals Mentor Program. Our cohorts connected at the Irvine Welcome Seminar and spent several hours networking and building meaningful relationships.
To allow us to connect you with Mentors that have similar interests or background all newly admitted students (Mentees) must fill out an application and submit two weeks prior to the Irvine Welcome Seminar.
