Robert M. Taylor, CRE, CPM, CSM (’67, ’73)
Mr. Taylor is a Counselor of Real Estate, Certified Property Manager, Certified Shopping Center Manager with thirty years experience in acquisition and management of residential, office, commercial and industrial property. He holds an M.B.A. and B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from California State University at Fullerton. He has been awarded the Real Estate Certificate Institute designation from the California Association of Realtors and is past President of the Executive Council of the School of Business Administration and Economics, California State University at Fullerton.
Prior to founding The REMM Group, from 1971 through 1978 Mr. Taylor was Vice President of the Robert A. McNeil Corporation, managing a portfolio of residential and commercial properties in the Western United States.
Mr. Taylor is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and has been a delegate to the Property Management division of the California Association of Realtors. He is a current committee member of Accredited Management Organization (AMO) and International Affairs - IREM National. Mr. Taylor is also a member of FIABCI International Real Estate Federation and holds the designations of Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and FIABCI International Property Consultant (FIPC).
Mr. Taylor is Chairman of the Board and President of the Robert M. Taylor Corporation, dba The REMM Group. The REMM Group provides real estate management services to approximately 35 clients, 125 properties inclusive of retail, office, industrial and multi-family housing located in California and is the developer of a 728-acre residential resort community at Lake Oroville, California. In addition, Mr. Taylor provides real estate consulting in the United States and to several major firms in The People’s Republic of China and the China Real Estate Association.
