MehdiReza Hirji

MehdiReza Hirji is an accomplished financial executive with over 10 years of experience in a variety of management and leadership roles. He currently is the Controller for Bio-Radís Quality Systems Division, a leading bio-tech company located in Irvine, CA specializing in serving medical and research laboratories worldwide. At Bio-Rad, he is responsible for directing and executing the organizationís overall financial and technology strategies. Prior to joining Bio-Rad, MehdiReza spent 5 years with LabCorp as the Associate Vice-President of Finance where he was responsible for the financial affairs of the Oncology Niche Market. He also spent several years with PacifiCare Health in Corporate Finance focused on investments, systems implementations and improving operations through functional centralization. Before entering the healthcare industry, MehdiReza acquired his technical foundation at Grant Thornton, an international accounting firm, where he served a diverse range of clients from manufacturers and financial institution both private and publically traded as well as prominent not-profits and trade associations. As a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Technology Professional, MehdiReza brings a combination of expertise in reporting, compliance, analysis, and technology resulting in prudent decisions which maximizes value for constituents he serves.

MehdiReza graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Fullerton in Accounting and Finance. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Public Accountants, and Financial Executives International. He is an active member of the Southern California community with leadership positions as the Commissioner for City of Anaheim Investment, Budget and Technology Commission, Treasurer for the Pediatrics Adolescents Diabetes Education Foundation, and Board Member of the Muslim Burial Organization of Los Angeles. MehdiReza is married to Zehra and lives in Anaheim, CA with their three girls.
