Gary A. Green ‘80
Gary A. Green has been a professional banker for more than 35 years having worked for Bank of America in its Long Beach Corporate Banking Group in the 1980s and moving to Eldorado Bank in 1989 as Regional Manager of the Bank’s Tustin Headquarters Office. In 1998, the Bank was sold to a private investor and Gary was promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer for the Bank. In 2001, the Bank was acquired by California Bank & Trust and Gary remained with the organization as a Senior Vice President/Regional Manager for Orange County. In 2006, Gary was promoted to Executive Vice President/Manager for Orange County’s Commercial Banking Region. Gary graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a BA in Finance in 1980 (High Honors) and from University of Southern California with an MBA in Finance in 1984. He also received a post graduate degree from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management in 1994.
Gary served as President/Chief Volunteer Officer of the Boys and Girls Club of Tustin from 2001-02 and again from 2007-2009 and continues to serve on the board as Past President (15 years in aggregate). He is also a 12 year member of the Board of Directors of Risk Management Association’s Orange County Chapter having served as President from 2005-2006 and is now Secretary/Treasurer. He also served on RMA’s National Chapters and Membership Council for 5 years from 2004 -2009.
Gary is a member of the board of directors of the Orange County Business Council for the past 16 years. Gary is actively involved as an Executive Committee member of Cal State Fullerton’s Front & Center event which is held annually and brings in headline performers to raise funds for merit-based scholarships for the school. Gary also actively serves on the Economic Forecast Committee that plans the annual Cal State Fullerton / Orange County Business Council Economic Forecast.
Gary was born in New York, moved to California in 1964 and resides in Tustin, California with his wife Kathleen and son Benjamin and daughter Michelle, both of which are in college.
