David DeFilippo `92
David De Filippo is a Regional Vice President in Union Bankís Commercial Banking Group. He is responsible for the bankís Middle Market Group delivering banking solutions to companies with revenues of $15 million to $75 million within territory of the San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire. The Middle Market Group provides working capital credit facilities, cash management services and commercial real estate lending.
Mr. De Filippo has been in commercial banking for over 15 years, coming to Union Bank in 1998. Prior to his current position in Commercial Banking, he managed the Business Banking Group which provided banking services to established and emerging companies in the San Gabriel Valley, Inland Empire and Orange County. Prior to managing Industry, Inland Empire and OC, he managed the Business Banking Group covering Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange County.
A native of Southern California, Mr. De Filippo holds a bachelorís degree from the California State University, Fullerton and he also is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Prior to his career at Union Bank of California, David worked in the commercial banking groups at First Interstate Bank-Wells Fargo Bank and Comerica Bank.
Mr. De Filippo has been active in community organizations. David is a past member of the Board of Directors for the California State University, Fullerton Alumni Association and is a current Board member of the Executive Council of the Mihaylo School of Business and Economics. He has served as Vice Chairman and Treasurer for the Board of Directors of Goodwill of Orange County (2003-2009) and was
a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Orange Coast YMCA for 5 years, including
chairman of their annual golf tournament. He is a competitive athlete playing in annual softball tournaments and enjoys playing basketball and golf. He enjoys playing with and coaching his kids in various sports including: Little League, NJB and Soccer. He resides in Ladera Ranch, California with his wife Cheri, two boys: Brendan & Carson and daughter: Ava.
