Dean Samsvick is Managing Partner of the Orange County office of KPMG, LLP, a “Big Four” international accounting firm. He is also Partner-in-Charge of KPMG’s Orange County audit practice. He has been with the Firm since 1981. Dean has extensive experience serving the medical technology and broader technology industries, including the electronics, semiconductors, and software segments.

Dean is versed in dealing with the issues of public companies, including the IPO and registration process, and the effectiveness and responsibilities of Audit Committees. Dean has also worked with many clients in an acquisition environment, both from a buy and a sell side, and has served many companies with multinational operations.

Dean is on the Board of Directors and Campaign Cabinet of Orange County’s United Way. Dean is on the Board of Trustees for South Coast Repertory Theater and the Board of Directors for the Orange County Business Committee for the Arts. Dean is a member of the UCI Chief Executive Roundtable and the Board of Counselors for the George L. Argyros School of Business at Chapman University, and has served in several leadership roles at Calvary Church of Santa Ana. He is a graduate of California State University at Fullerton.
