Bala Iyer

Bala Iyer currently serves on the Conexant Systems, Inc Board of Directors. Formerly, Mr. Iyer served as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial officer of Conexant Systems, Inc. Prior to joining Conexant Systems, Mr. Iyer worked as Senior Vice president and Chief Financial Officer of VLSI Technology, Inc., now Philips Semiconductor.

Mr. Iyer has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Masters of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Mr. Iyer received the 2008 Director of the Year Award for Corporate Growth and Development from the Forum for Corporate Directors.
