Mr. Taylor began his mortgage banking career in 1992. He has predominantly spent most of his career in accounting and finance including working at KPMG, LLP, and has almost 20 years of experience with publicly-owned SEC reporting companies. His current role began as the Senior Vice President and Controller of Impac Mortgage in 2004. In 2007, Mr. Taylor became the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, and helped managed the company through difficult years of 2007-2009. In February 2008, Mr. Taylor was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer where he is responsible for accounting, finance and information technology. In 2012, Mr. Taylor’s responsibilities expanded to include a newly created department in the company called Risk Management which specifically focuses on the management of the risks the organization including quality control and mortgage lending compliance. Mr. Taylor earned his B.A. degree in Business from California State University at Fullerton and is a certified public accountant. He lives in Laguna Hills, California with his wife of 19 years, Amy, and two teenage boys.
