Dr. Robert Kovacev
Dr. Robert Kovacev has extensive professional experience as a technologist, program manager, and international marketer for technology firms ranging from high tech start-ups and turn-arounds to Fortune 50 technology companies. He is currently a principal consultant in his own consulting firm, The Innovation Initiative Consulting Group.
An effective and highly motivating educator he has been teaching business courses at California State University and Chapman University for over 23 years. He currently teaches finance, marketing, and entrepreneurial marketing at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics.
He has had successful multi-disciplined corporate experience in such industry-leading firms as Boeing, Northrop-Grumman, Rockwell International, and Printrak International. This experience includes positions as a technologist (research physicist and systems engineer); Director of Program Management for major U.S. defense and Canadian Law Enforcement system development programs; and International Marketing and Business Development Director with a proven track record in Mideast, European, Asian, Australian, and Canadian markets.
He has degrees in Physics and an MBA-Marketing from California State University at Los Angeles. He earned a doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix with an emphasis in entrepreneurial organizational behavior. His dissertation is entitled, Encouraging Employee Entrepreneurial Spirit in a Process-Oriented Technology Enterprise.
Dr. Kovacev is an excellent presenter to customer and management audiences and noted speaker to professional and civic organizations. He was a Featured Speaker at an American Institute of Information Management (AIIM) Conference in New York and has published articles on marketing, management, program management, computer peripheral technology, law enforcement technology, and laser communication.
