Accounting Society
Mission:
To increase knowledge of accounting theory and principles, and
of current practices and procedures.
To promote accounting as an area of concentration.
To promote accounting as a profession.
To promote social interaction with business professionals in the community.
To promote social interaction with students in the College of Business and Economics.
Beta Alpha Psi (BAP)
Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919 as a national honors
accounting fraternity. By 1997 there were over 200 chapters on
college and university campuses with over 200,000 members
initiated ever since. Delta Beta Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the
19th chapter installed nationally, was installed on May 20,
1972.
